Brief Answer:
Mechanical back pain, Infective cough

Detailed Answer:
HI there.

Thanks for the query.

Do you do any heavy weight lifting ?

Do you have pain at the back of your neck ?

Is there any blood in the cough or any weight loss ?

Pain in the upper back region to one side is most commonly due to muscle spasm or knot.

Avoid lifting heavy weights. Apply pain killing gel and hot water bottle in the region of pain. Take pain killer muscle relaxant like Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination which will give good relief. You can get an Orthopaedician consult for a proper examination diagnosis and necessary investigation like Xray etc.
Consult a Pulmonologist to treat the cough and rule out any sinister pathology.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Brief Answer:
Degenerative spine

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Yes, I have reviewed reports attached here.

Your spine in the neck appears to be having severe arthritic condition with degenerative changes and osteophytes. Have you ever sustained trauma to the neck ?

I believe this will restrict the neck movements significantly. I advise you to also get a thoracic spine Xray done as this is the area of your upper back. There may be nerve pinching due to the degenerative spine.

Your can apply cervical collar to the neck to reduce the beech movements and provide relief.

Kindly follow up with me on this.

Hi there.

You can take Aceclofenac MR for relief. Also apply hot water bottle over the painful area. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights.

Kindly follow the precautions and also consult your Orthopaedic surgeon for further examination and workup to reach the right diagnosis and appropriate management.
