Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Foot

default
Posted on Wed, 23 Nov 2016
Question: I found a Doctor that agreed with Dr.Heijbu that the pain in my right foot was not coming from the 5 knee operations. This Dr. believed it was coming from my back and the treatment involved shock treatment. I was informed today not to take shock treatment because I have prostate cancer and it went into my hip. What is the story on this.

Brief Answer:
Bone scan will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir.

Yes, indeed the pain in the foot is not related to the 5 knee operations.

It's advisable to get a bone scan to detect possible extention of the prostate cancer into the hip joint or even elsewhere.

Based on the results, further management can be planned.

As of now shock treatment can be withheld.

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you.
