Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Calf Muscles

Question: I am having pain in my left calf...can not figure out any reason that might be the case...do I need to consider a clot?

Hi and welcome to HCM.

If there is associated swelling paleness and history of long sitting, previous coagulation disorders, recent surgery or obesity then there is increased risk that this may be deep vein thrombosis and you should get Doppler ultrasound done to rule this out.

If there is only pain then this is more likely to be musculosceletal cause, but clot can never be ruled out for sure without ultrasound so it would be good to do this and check your D-dimers in blood.
