Brief Answer:
It can gingivitis or pulp infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Two important causes of such gum pain are gingivitis or pulp infection.

This needs treatment with oral antibiotics and gum paints.Ideal would be to see dentist, particularly to rule out deep seated infection draining through the gums.

Or you can take a course of oral antibiotics and use oral antibiotic gargles to see if that helps. If symptoms continue after that then see the dentist.

Hope this helps. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.
