Question: have developed a pain in my foot after using a tredmill. I think it is Planophisheitis (sp?). I have had it for 3 months. Is there any way to relieve the pain when I walk?

Brief Answer:
use simple analgesics and use soft chappals.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.
Thanks for posting to us.

The condition you mentioned is plantar fascitis, resulting from non specific inflammation of plantar fascia. This causes pain in the plantar(below) aspect of foot especially toward back.

The condition is managed by using soft rubber foot wear (especially designed for this condition),with analgesic support only when necessary. Such foot wear should be used even indoor.
You can use simple analgesics like ibuprofen 3 times daily after food for 3 to 5 days.
If the pain doesn't come down or reappear, kindly see your doctor (a physiotherapist will be better) for further management.
Meanwhile avoid walking bear footed on cold surfaces.

Hope this will answer your query.
Be free to ask if you need further clarification.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
