Question: I have numbness and pain in my lower abdomin and penis, I'm a 60 year old male with a history of alcoholism

I am so sorry to hear about this numbness and pain that you have reported. Could you please tell me for how long this has been going on and what provokes or makes it worse? If this just happened, I will say take tylenol and ibuprofen for this. Most benign pains would resolve. If this fails to resolve the problem, then we would consider further detailed evaluation through a physical exam and testing. Alcoholism doesn't seem to exact explain these symptoms and I wil not want to go that way right now.
