I have had the symptoms for three weeks and tried the creams for about ten days each.

No discharge or other problems. No recent sexual activity.

I did have balinitis once before...Maybe two years ago.

No image available ... Just slightly reddenned and rough skin...

Brief Answer:
Possible eczema

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up question.

The fact that you are not sexually active recently, gives me reassurance to rule out the sexually transmitted infections, which closes a lot our circle of possible diagnoses.

So what remains is:
- A fungal infection: you have treated your rash with 2 creams which are used against a fungal infection. If these creams have helped you, then continue to use them. The fungal infections are difficult to get treated and the creams might need to be used longer then one month, twice/day and thick layer.
- An eczema: If the creams haven't helped you much, then you will need an anti-inflammatory cream to treat that problem. My recommendation is to use Hydrocortisone 1% twice/day, thin layer for 2 weeks.

Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.

Regards,
Dr.Papaqako
