Any preexisting disease? I also need to know the entire spectrum of medicines prescribed post extraction. As I said, the pain is a normal feature of any procedure. So first possibility is that its just a normal pain, that will gradually subside. The second possibility is that the infection has set in causing delayed healing and pain. so an antibiotic course may be needed, if not already given. Finally, maybe a remnant is left and you need root canalling to make the nerve numb. I hope this information helps you.
