Brief Answer:
You can wait for 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in.

There is different timing for eruption & shedding of every teeth.Permanent Incissors & first permanent molars erupt by the age of 6-8 years.Permanent canines & premolars erupt by the age of 10-12 years.
You haven't mentioned that you are talking about which tooth.
Generally eruption of permanent tooth exerts pressure on deciduous teeth causing their shedding. So you can wait for 6 months & if permanent tooth completely erupts & milk teeth is still present then you should go for its extraction.
It has no harmful effect on gums.
You can wait till permanent tooth completely erupts & then you may go for extraction.
Maintain proper oral hygiene by regular brushing & flossing.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health

Thanks for the reply, its canine therefore please advice and also let me know about the tooth paste for him as the color is very dull of his tooth, he has gone for scaling for the central incisor tooth but that could not help much. Please provide the next steps for both the issues:
1)Canine Issue
2)Color Issue
3)Dental Cream to use for ever
4)Also advice dental cream for my 5yr old kid.

Brief Answer:
Wait till permanent canine completely erupts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I would like to tell you permanent canine usually erupts between 10-12 yrs. So you wait till it completely erupts.
As such no dental cream will change its color. If you want to get it whitened then go for bleaching. But it is also temporary & later on teeth again takes staining with time.
Thirdly you can use any dental cream & most importantly use it correctly twice a day.
Lastly you can use kidodent tooth paste for your 5 yr old child till he becomes 8.

Hope I answered your query
