Question: I asked a question about 10 minutes ago. I am new to Web MD. How do I get my answer?

My question was: I have occasional numbness in my toes, mostly noticed at night or bed time. I normally do not notice this same problem during the day.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have told you that the common causes of the symptoms you are having are-
1)Peripheral neuropathy-early stage
2)Vitamins deficiency
3)Diabetes
4)Alcoholism-Do you take alcohol routinely?
5)Early radiculopathy

Please get your blood sugar levels done and follow-up.Further,please take multivitamins and antioxidant supplements like - Neurobion forte capsules on regular basis.I hope to see you improving.

Even,if then, the symptoms don't improve, you may need to undergo physical examination by a neurologist.Nerve conduction studies may be planned ahead for diagnosis.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
