Question: Hello Doctor,
I have a persistent nasal block in the left nostril. Not sure what's it about.
I have been taking telekast-L and flutiflo nasal spray.

It could be because of nasal allergy.

Hello XXXXXXX

The nasal block could be because of allergy and that`s why you have been prescribed telecast L and flutiflo. You should continue these esp now when the pollution is so high and winters setting in with rising levels of smog.

Breathing exercises wherein you breath in from one nostril and breathout from another will also help. Avoid exposure to dust and smoke and very cold weather.

If these measures do not help, please consult a ENT specialist locally who may examine you for any obstruction within the nose.
