Brief Answer:
Visit a pediatric urologist and get the cause of obstruction evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the attached report. As such, hydronephrosis is not a very serious condition. Rather the cause of hydronephrosis needs to be dealt with caution. An obstruction anywhere in between the kidney and the outlet through which the urine comes out, leads backpressure on the kidneys leading to hydronephrosis which in turn may lead to inability of the kidneys to do what it is supposed to do. So, unless the obstruction is removed, the situation may become critical indeed.

You need to visit a pediatric urologist and get the cause of obstruction evaluated and managed. A DMSA scan might be required. Proceed as per the guidelines of the urologist. After the obstruction is taken care of, you need not worry about the hydronephrosis that has already occurred.

Hope that helps.

DMSA Scan-Could you explain how this is will work? Like any other scan or different

Brief Answer:
DMSA scan is a radioisotope scan specific for the renal system.

Detailed Answer:
I would request you not to get technical. First visit a urologist and let him assess whether it is required. It is a radioisotope scan. The kidney and the related structures take up the isotope and become radiologically distinct from the rest of the structures of the body. If there is any abnormality in the isotope uptake, problems are suspected.

Hope that helps.
