Brief Answer:
Alternative medicines to be discussed with your gastroenterologist!

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic,

I can certainly understand your concern,

Some cheaper(comparatively) substitutes are--

-- Balsalazide.
-- Plain Acetaminophen.
-- Sulphsalazine
-- Immunomodulators -Azathioprines or mercaptopurines.

These are the drugs which can be used in place of Asacol. Please discuss these options with your gastroenterologist.

Thanks
