Brief Answer:
takes 2-3 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.

Topiramate is a very good drug for migraines and seizures. However it is known to cause severe confusion and functional problems. It also causes symptoms like depression.

I think I would suggest meeting the doctor for a change of prescription instead of stopping the medicine directly.

The medicine takes 2-3 weeks to clear off. The effects can therefore last that long. So you need to wait a little longer.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
