Question: I am 55 y/o, post menopausal 10 years. I have Eylhr Danlos hypermobile with DDD and some significant arthritis in my spine. With the ED, I have had hypotension fluxuating with extreme high bp and tachycardia. My HR runs 120 at rest and I have woken up with rates of 160 to 180 in the morning. After reading dutch and british research on aging and ED, I found that clonidine seems to work for getting back to a normal HR. I am also on metroprolol and BP fluctuates from 170/139 to 70/40. When i was in my 3o's an alert doctor noted that I was having petite mal seizures lasting seconds to a few minutes. In the past year I have had IBS, migraine, projectile vomiting and worsening of erratic HR and BP. Most recently, I have lost my ability to taste food, it's all cardboard. And I have unexplained episodes of rage. I have a meningioma that isn't changing in size (discovered when in ER for vomiting and dehydration.) It has been suggested that I talk with my doc about an MR to look at my brain. Any ideas on aging with these issues? Someone suggested I research ME and other neurological symptoms.

Hello
I have read your query.
For meningioma you need frequent investigation and follow up to see size.
For hypertension and tachycardia consult your MD doctor.
MRI cervical spine will help in making severity of disease.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens to neck will help you.
Many of my patients get relief with yoga and pranayama, and XXXXXXX XXXXXXX so you can also start that.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
