Question: I am a 54 year old female, weight is 127 lbs, height is 5 ft 6. I am a non smoker and have a history of SVT, MVP, PAC's, PVC's and an anuersym in my atrial septum. I have been on Tenormin 50 mg. which I only take a fourth of at bedtime unless I have an episode with SVT. I also take Celexa 10 mg at bedtime, and Clonazepam 1 mg, and take half of it at bedtime usually. I have noticed I have having trouble remembering things and it kinda alarms me. First thing I think of is Alzthemiers, and I know that isn't spelled correctly. On Labor Day my sister and I went shopping and we always eat out while we are gone. I was talking to a friend on Sunday and couldn't even remember where we ate. I thought and thought, and nothing came to mind. I finally asked my Mom if she remembered where we ate, and she said yes, Golden Corral. She said don't u remember, and I replied no. Do I need to be concerned about this?

Brief Answer:
Require further evalauation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand from your medicines that you have anxiety and depression which often co-exist.
When a person has these, lapses of memory can occur without Alzheimer's disease or any other form of dementia. It can be related to a period of inattention which occurs in people with anxiety and depression.
At the same time one should not ignore this symptom totally.
If you can send me your email id, I shall email you a test which will be to know whether your memory is normal or you require to be investigated.
Best wishes,
Dr. Noble Zachariah

I did receive it, however it won't let me fill it out. Guess I don't have the right program on my computer to download it. I can view it, but nothing else I can do.
