I have gone carefully through your query. You need not really worry about medicine induced headaches. You may continue to use ibuprofen (be sure to take it in full stomach to avoid developing gastritis) or can change over to Aleve (naproxen) 500 mg to be taken when required (over the counter, to be taken in full stomach).

If the problem has been persisting, it would be a good idea to visit a doctor and to get yourself evaluated in order to determine the underlying cause.
