Suggest Treatment For Male Pattern Hair Loss
Question: Hi,
I am suffering from the problem of low density of Hairs on my head. I have taken the advice of Dermatologist and he told me that it is not any kind of disease but a common baldness. He suggested to have PRP if i want to increase the density of my hairs. I want to know if this is effective to have a good growth of hairs or there is any other technology (apart from hair transplant) which can increase the hair density. Also please suggest the hospitals in Delhi/NCR where this technology is available?

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern
you may follow medical treatment as an alternative to prp. Prp can be considered at a later date if medical treatment probes ineffective.
Minoxidil and finasteride are approved treatments for male pattern hair loss.
I would suggest Minoxidil 5% solution,1ml, twice daily application at scalp skin.
In addition i would also suggest a tablet of finasteride 1mg daily.
The goal of medical treatment is to arrest further progression and induce new hair growth.
