Question: so I have a scattered lower teeth....its been that way since I was little and now am 22....I get shy to smile and scared to see a dentist. I was just wondering, if I should see a dentist can they get my teeth straightened. And how long will the treatment process approximately take.

As far as the scatterred or mal aligned teeth is concerned, after seeing the images, it suggests that you have a very narrow and small jaw to accommodate all the teeth. Nothing to be panic, consult an orthodontist and get the orthodontic treatment or braces done. Nothing to get scared to visit a dentist. This problem can be treated by braces, and it takes approximately 1 year to one and half year to complete the treatment.
Before starting the treatment you have to get radiographic investigation done like OPG and lateral cephalogram. And you might require extraction of first premolars to create space and pull the front teeth back.
