Brief Answer:
Probably due to inner ear disturbance

Detailed Answer:
Hi sir. Thanks for your query on HCM.

Lightheadedness as in your case would be most likely to related to inner ear - which is called as vestibular imbalance. This is a common condition and needs symptomatic treatment. I were to do physicial examination, ENT examination, complete blood count (to rule out anemia) and ask for a carotid doppler study if required.

I appreciated that you stay hydrated which is very important to prevent low blood pressure which is one of the causes of lightheadedness.I double sure that there is no reason to panic and advise you to consult an ENT physician for further evaluation and treatment.

Kindly feel free to reach for further queries you may have.

Dr.Praveen
