Brief Answer:
It could be due to adhesions.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Adhesions are one of the commonest cause of pain abdomen after surgery.
As left kidney is removed and also Uterus, chances of adhesions at that sites are common.Abdominal fat called Omentum will get adherent to the raw areas of the surgery site or suture sites and will cause pain in the abdomen. It may be continuous or intermittent.
I prescribe anti spasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine twice daily for 1 week to my patients with similar complaints.
If there is no response, I will go for Ultrasound abdomen and Colonoscopy. As Descending colon and sigmoid colon are the important organs that are present on left side , any lesion inside can be made out with these investigations. So please discuss with your treating doctor.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
