Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stone While On Stone 1 Syrup
Question: Dear Sir,
6 Years back had a (left side) urethral stricture and underwent stenting . Now about 2 months back have noticed one kideny stone came out during urination. Then went for scanning and found that there were three maximum size of 7mm. Consulted Urologist and as advised by him took Urimax and Lasix tablets and Stone 1B syrup for 15 days. After that again went for Abdomen Pelvis scanning and found that now only one stone left and size also 5mm (Earlier 7mm). Now need your advise about further medication and tips to avoid recurrence of the same. Should i continue Stone 1b syrup or any other medication. Please advise. Also would like to know your openion about Ayurveda or Unani medicine for teh same . Thanks, xxxxxxx

You are fortunate to have expelled two stones with treatment.
The remaining stone size has reduced in size also.
In this situation,you must continue the same treatment.
It's very likely that the remaining stone also will flush out.
Ayurveda and Unani treatment is not as effective.
However,you should drink about 3 liters of fluids daily.
Repeat the scan after a month,to confirm the stone has flushed out.
