Brief Answer:
Keloid treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

I have also looked at the Image. This is classical Keloid.

Chest and shoulders are notorious for keloidal scaring in susceptible individuals. Keloids are best managed with intralesional steroids e.g intralesional triamcinolone acetonide 40 mg/ ml. This is first line of treatment. The depot injection causes breakdown of the excessive collagen tissue present in keloidal scar, thereby causing them to flatten. The injection can be repeated after 3 weeks, if required. The injections can be easily administered by your dermatologist.

Other options are Cryotherapy/Freezing with liquid nitrogen, Intralesional 5-Flourouracil, CO2 Laser Vaporisation followed by intralesional steroids.

I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist of your own choice, in your region. I would recommend intralesional steroids injection, as first line treatment in your case.

Regards
