Suggest Treatment For Jock Itch
Question: i have had a severe case of jock itch for at least three years. Tried all types of Rx creams and on Lamisil 200 Mg for 6 months with no help also Diflucan for 3-4 months with no results. Have Lyme disease and have been antibiotics over the years, but none for last nine months. Rash is very terrible itch especially when warm or sweating and st nights. Some times skin on testicles and legs become raw.

Jock itch or Tinea cruris is nothing but a kind of fungal skin infection.
From your history it seems you have got tinea which is resistant to routine antifungals.
Therefore, I would recommend proper course of highly effective antifungal drug like itraconazole. Itraconzole 100mg capsule to be taken once daily for one month after lunch.
Along with oral antifungal, local application of sertaconazole or luliconazole cream over affected areas twice a day for month is necessary.
Take oral antihistaminics for itching as required.
Use antifungal soap for rinsing affected areas and antifungal dusting powder while going outdoors.
Avoid tight undergarments and use cotton clothes as far as possible.
