Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rash On Left Side Of Rib Cage

Question: I have a rash around my left rib cage. it is not spreading. it is only on the left side, and it is very itchy. it is slightly raised. what I can use to reduce the itch or treat it.

Thanks for using our service. You need to use a cortisone cream to help the rash.Other option is benadry anti itch cream. Both are over the counter,no prescriptions needed. Calamine lotion is another alternative to relieve the itching.

Thankyou for the response. I had initially attached a picture of the rash to the question I asked earlier . Hopefully you looked at it . Im not sure if it's shingles or something else, hopefully not , but it would be great if you could let me know. Thanks .

If it is just a rash, most likely is not shingles, because this gives a painful blister and rash, only in one side of the body.
