Suggest Treatment For Itching Caused Due To Ring Worm Infection

Question: Dear Sir, I am male 28 years and sufferred from ring worms. Doctor suggested me candiforce 100mg and tab laval. I have completed the course. ring worms are finished but as soon as i stop itching starts,, is it the side effect..? how should i stop that. Me and my wife are planning for a baby. can this medication hamper sperm formation? pls guide.

I understand your query and concern.

This is not a side effect to your drugs. Its body's immune reaction to killed worm antigens.

This itching can be safely reduced by application of Anti histaminic lotions and steroidal lotions/creams like Deslor and Betamethasone.

Please note that these drugs are to be taken under strict medical prescription.

All your symptoms will completely resolve in the due course of time as you have already completed correct anti ring worm drugs.

These drugs have no effect on sperm production.

You and your wife can safely have a baby once the entire ring worm infection is completely cleared off.
