It is an ongoing problem. No one else in the family has it. He does have high blood pressure, he is on medication.Ramipril, the generic for altace. We have tried eliminating some foods, nuts, and milk, no change. The itching continues. He has scratched the skin off in places on his shins and ankles. It has not appeared any place on his body. He quit taking his magnedium and ostesbiflex, potassium, different vitamins at different times. The probkem continues. It is a puzzle.

Brief Answer:
Most probably allergic response

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Features are suggestive of allergic response. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- cetirizine one at night for 5 days
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.
- apply Betamethasone 1mg over the burning area.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if conditions remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
