Question: I sent a question within the past 5 minutes but did not include the fact the red area on my neck is itchy. I just put a moisturizing cream on it. Thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
Might be allergic reaction .Was any anti histamine prescribed?

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

It is quite possible it might be an allergic reaction as well, if the lesion is itchy.

Have you been prescribed any antihistamines ? or calamine lotion, which soothes the itching.

Any insect bite in the area?
Have you eaten any new foods recently.
Any fash wash/ bodywash other than your usual.
Any history of known allergies.
Any necklace or chain you might have worn, the metal to which you might be allergic.

Please get back to me if you have further queries.

Warm Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
