Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heart Beat Along With Low BP
Question: Hi, I am a 68 year old female. Last night (2am) had increased BP of 188/98, and irregular heart rate of 160 and maybe higher, it was hard to count. Onset while I was lying in bed reading. No nausea, no sweating, no SOB. I immediately took 5mg Norvasc and an aspirin. In an hour or 2, I was ok. Today feel ok. Monitoring BP and last one was 132/62 and pulse 60 and regular. Have doctor appointment tomorrow early a.m. Question is it relatively safe to wait until tomorrow, if I feel well, or go to the ER today? Thanks you.
