Hi back,

After reviewing your photo I would like to say that it seems you have parasites on your stools. The white things may be ascarides or other parasites.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations:
- blood work
- stool test for ova parasites
- stool test for candida

This examinations will help to find out what is causing your symptoms and the exact type of parasites and will determine the best treatment option.

Thanks. What kind of blood work would you recommend checking? Does candida get checked in the regular parasite stool test? Sometimes I see these white things on the back of the toilet seat. Could it be related to anything with ibs? Thanks again

With regards to blood work it is a standard exam to count blood cells. The most important at your case is to know about eosinophilic cells count.
It is high in parasitic infection.

Candida doesn't get checked by parasites stool stest but by stool culture for candida.

Your stool finidngs are not common related with IBS.
