Question: My father is suffering from lungs deseas whicheck is called ILD and taking 24 hour oxizon through machine and now taking another machine to exhale co2 also as per prescribed by Dr Plz tell me how can I get online consultancy

I know how bad ILD is.
ILD is progressive lung disease which cause respiratory failure in terminal stages.
Respiratory failure causes hypoxia (low oxygen) and hypercarbia (high carbon dioxide).
Hypoxia needs oxygen and hypercarbia needs ventilatory support to removes carbon dioxide from body.
Ventilatory support is by two means.
1. Invasive (in hospital)
2. Non Invasive (home care).
Non Invasive Ventilator (NIV) is needed for home based support.

Actually he is taking NIV at home but want to ask about any kind of tharapy or exercises which can help him to get recovery from this deseas

Sorry for late reply as I was busy in weekend.
Diets recommendations for him.
1. Avoid excessive fluid intake. Total fluid intake per day should be less than 1.5 liters.
2. Avoid excessive dietary salt.
3. Avoid oily, fried, fatty food.
4. Give him high protein diet like pulses, eggs, protein powder etc.
5. Start multivitamin and anti oxidant tablets. Aloo give foods which are high in anti oxidants like fruits, green leafy vegetables etc.
Please let me know if he is having other comorbid conditions like diabetes, hypertension or dyslipidemia etc.
