Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Sore Throat While Having Asthma

default
Posted on Sat, 24 Dec 2016
Question: I have been having an intermittent mild sore throat only on my right side for about one year. In addition, I feel what seems like muscle tension in my neck. My right ear occasionally rings and also sometimes itches (inside). I have mild TMJ. I've had mild bronchitis three times this year and twice during the illness, I lost my voice for about a week (before this year, I had lost my voice once in my life). I'm 43 YO, not overweight, and have two small children in preschool. I have an annual physical with blood work with no concerns. I have asthma and used to smoke cigarettes. I sometimes still vaporize, but do not smoke 'traditional' cigarettes.

Brief Answer:
I would like to know if your Eosinophil count and Allergic tests are normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, welcome to HCM,

I would like to know if your Eosinophil count and Allergic tests are normal.

I would also suggest the following--

Take steam inhalation with Eucalyptus oil daily.
You can try MonteleuKast with Fexofenadine combination once at night for a month.
Take a good antioxidant like vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium.
Take a de-congestant/expectorant liquid containing Bromhexine plus Guaphenesin 2 tsf once a in the daytime.

You can revert back if there's any further queries.
Regards
