Brief Answer:
Various measures for prevention of ingrown hair.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the ingrown hair and related problems due to the same.

I have gone through the picture with best diligence. The picture basically shows the tattoo area rathe than the affected area of the skin. Even then there are certain important Aspects of ingrown hairs.

It is due to inflammation of the hair roots and oil glands attached to it. It could be due to tight clothes or due to hot humid weather or also due to mild fluctation in blood sugar. To prevent the inflammation of the hair root there are certain important points:

- Do not wear tight closings such as skin tight jeans or leggings.

- Avoid sweating and hot humid weather.

- Do not try to touch or scratch the area.

- Get your blood sugar examined once in 6 months to one year.

If at all despite above you have ingrown hair then you can do warm water compressions. Apply an antibacterial cream such as Mupirocin or fucidin over the affected area.

I hope this helps.

With good health wishes,

Regards,
