Question: What can I do to treat excess mosture on mouth? Watering to excess.

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain excessive saliva production or hypersalivation can be felt in 2 cases:

1. Due to increased production.
2.Due to reduced swallowing.

Please answer the following questions so that I can guide you better..
1.Do you have any infection in mouth or gums or mouth ulcers?
2.Do you have acid reflux?
3.Do you have any medical problems or are you on any medications?
4.Do you have any difficulty in swallowing like any pain or other problems?
5.Do you have any nerve related problems?

no infection in mouth---no acid refluxiii copd and metformin no pain no nerve problems

I know there are things for dry mouth is ther anything for to much slavia??

Hi..
Welcome back..

I would suggest you to consult a Neurologist and get evaluated as if common causes are not the finding then can be probably some Neurological issue..

A proper examination will be done and then only appropriate treatment can be advised..

As of now you can gargle frequently with antiseptic mouthwash solution as they have a drying effect in mouth..
Brushing teeth can also help as it also has a drying effect in mouth..
They will however give temporary relief and for permanent resolution finding out the exact cause and treating the same will help in complete resolution..
