Brief Answer:
Possible allergic skin reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM,

From what you are describing it looks like an allergic reaction, because its sudden and itchy.
Maybe you have eaten something that you are allergic from, maybe had antibiotics about 2-3 weeks ago (they cause a late allergic reaction), maybe touched something that you didn't notice, sometimes hives even come without a actual reason.

I would recommend to continue using benadryl.
If it is getting worse and not better, you may need to take steroids to stop the inflammation, but first will need to visit the ER or an allergy doctor.
Also, doing the skin prick test and checking what you are allergic from would be something you should consider, because allergic reactions tend to become more severe the second time you have contact with the same substance, so you need to know it, in order to avoid it.

Hope this is helpful
Let me know if you have further questions or need more clarifications. I will be happy to answer.
