Question: im on 50mg of atenol for high blood pressure high pulse and panick attacks
it really helps anxiety and lowers blood pressure my lowers my pulse to 50 is this dangereerous and what blood pressure tabs could i take that will help anxiety

Hello,

50 is not dangerous but it is marginally acceptable. Since you don't have serious heart disease, I would advise you to decrease atenolol dosage provided that your blood pressure is OK, so that you'll maintain a pulse rate around 60.
50 won't cause trouble to a healthy individual but a lower pulse (40 or lower) will. There is no reason to go so close to the lower level though. 60 beats per minute should be just fine for your panic attacks.
