Brief Answer:
they are right medicines and relatively very safe

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXX,

Thanks for writing to us.

Rexipra (escitalopram) is an SSRI group of anti-depressant drug and it’s very safe among most of the antidepressants. Common side effects are nausea, gastric discomfort, yawning, decrease libido. However it does not mean that each patient taking it will have side effects. 5-12% of the patients suffer from these. And most of them get adapted and tolerant to side effects and only few of them have to stop medicine due to side effect. It is good drug from your problem and safe in patients with high blood pressure.

Epitril (clonazepam)is benzodiazepine and very good anti-anxiety drug. In day time at low dose it gives immediate control of anxity symptoms. At night time in higher dose it is helpful in sleep. No major side effects of this drug.

Both of these drug can be stopped gradually under doctor's guidance. If your physician have given these drugs I recommend take opinion of psychiatrist once as psychiatrist is the expert person who can prescribe and use these drugs effectively and safe manner.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
