Brief Answer:
cold compress

Detailed Answer:
Absolutely to be taken is a cold compress.
No doubts about that at all.
heat will increase the local inflammation

Hematoma may take its time.

Brief Answer:
It needs to be taken

Detailed Answer:
Effient is a drug called prasugrel
It is definitely important to be taken after a stent
And should be taken life long
In fact it is one medicine that keeps the stent patent
Else the stent may get blocked also
Making it like a heart attack again

How long does it take for hematoma to go away?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Saumya Mittal (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Depends on many factors

Detailed Answer:
The hematome dissolution depends on many factors including the site, the size of the hematoma, the age of the patient, the healing process.

So I cannot tell you the exact time.
The bigger the hematoma, the longer it takes

It takes a minimum of 15 days. The larger ones take more time

Best of luck
