Brief Answer: Please upload the audiological tests!! Detailed Answer: Hello It is difficult to advice you without knowing the audiological results of your son and also if any imaging study was done for him like Ct scan or mri. We have to find out the cause for deafness and then only it can be treated or rehabilitated properly. However i would also like to assure you that unilateral , that is one sided deafness generally causes no harm and i s not noted by the patients generally and they can lead a perfectly normal life, waiting for the reports! Thanks

Brief Answer: MRI report is normal Detailed Answer: Hello well , i am happy to note that the mri scan report is normal and he does not have any mass/growth in his brain. The hearing loss is a bit high , but since he is having only one sided hearing loss , he may not require any intervention. However if he is still concerned or disturbed , you can use a hearing aid , specially the ones called , completely in the canal type , which are not seen from outside. He has to repeat the audiogram in 6 months and see if the hearing is improving , same or deteriorating. There are no medicines for this and surgery will also not be a good option for him , since the other ear is perfectly normal. The headache and spinning sensation can be related and you should meet your ent doctor for examination and further advice. For the time being he can take tab vertin 8 mg twice a day , it will reduce his spinning sensation , but you should take him to an ent doctor soon. Thanks

Brief Answer: please have patience! Detailed Answer: Hello Well i have full concern for your child and can understand your concern since i get many patients with same issues. I am sorry , but truly speaking there is no such treatment available now and i would like you to consider the hearing aid , if it is disturbing his daily activities. There is lot of research going on in stem cells , but it is experimental and as of now there is no treatment. Please have patience Take care
