Suggest Treatment For Head Congestion In An Infant

Question: 6 month old baby girl went to the caribbean a day after getting her shots for vacation. Return home with head congestion. Have doctor's appointment tomorrow. How should I treat these symptoms.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I would specifically for the signs that make you think that the child has head congestion. Possibly the child is just having simple reactionary features that often present after doses of DPT (diphtheria vaccine). Such symptoms usually occur for a day or two and subside spontaneously thereafter. No interventions are needed except for giving paracetamol or acetaminophen if there is rise in temperature.
