I have already been cleared from the dentist. No issues with XXXXXXX or gums that would explain the bad breath and tongue coating

Glossitis

Detailed Answer:
hi
welcome to healthcare magic and thanks for putting up the query
white tongue coating and bad breath are most commonly due to bad oral hygiene..and second common is due to fungal infection..as u have already consulted a Dentist.. it is probably oral thrush..
use an antifungal mouth paint like candid mouth paint to be applied to tongue and oral mucosa after brushing and tongue cleaning at least 3 to 4 times a day..
use hexidine mouth wash 3 to 4 times a day
take tablet vitamin c once daily
the medicines are available only on prescription
avoid tobacco
drink plenty of water.
any further questions are always
wishing you a speedy recovery
Thanks and regards
