Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss And Male Pattern Baldness
Question: Hi Sir.
I had a problem of hair fall and male pattern baldness. So I went to a skin specialist. He advised me to use Minoxidil 5% two times a day, finasteride once a day and follihair once a day. After fifteen or twenty days the hair fall decreased very well and after two months new hair also started growing on affected area. I decided to continue these medicines. After 8 months I stopped taking finasteride on doctors advise and continued having monoxidil solution and follihair and everything was OK. After 10 months( 2 months after stopping finasteride) I stopped taking follihair on doctor's advise. But after two weeks of stopping follihair, my hair has again started to fall heavily. I am afraid that I might lose the progress on my new hair over the 11 months of treatment. I am totally confused and don't know the reason of hairfall. Is it follihair or is it finasteride? Hairfall has started two weeks after stopping follihair.
What should I do now... Plz help.

My father has male pattern baldness but he had it in his late 30s or 40s.
I dont have dandruff in my scalp but I sometimes feel itching (not much).
I also had malaria and typhoid when I was 20. After that hairfall started but baldness was not visible. It was visible 2 yrs back.
I also have some questions.
1) Are there any laboratory tests (like blood, urine etc)through which I can know the exact reason?
2) Is there any permanent solution so that my hair dont start to fall after completing the medicine course?
3) Should I get homeopathy treatment?

I would also like to know that how much time i have to take follihair and is there any side effects of follihair if i take it for long term?
And there are many homeopathy hair clinics claiming that they can give long term and very effective solution of hairfall. So should I try it or not?
