A. Problem is gradual

2 Did it follow any special event like illness or injury or dieting.

3 Is there a history of similar features in family members
A. NO,

4 Which areas were the first to be affected
A. Begin with right and left side of forehead and since last above 6 months started in crown area - Hair thinning & hair fall.

5 Was there any associated symptoms like itching etc
A. As I mentioned earlier have pimples in crown area without puff, pimples look like face pimples and bumps in crown area and itching around all area. other symptoms are before 3 months having fast dandruff production with hair fall and hair thinning.

6 Have the bumps in crown area appeared after use of some application especially steroid preparations for local use
A. I never used steroids for my hair problems till now only tried natural home remedies like using lemons , garlic paste, onion paste, apple cider vinegar and hair oils , shampoos (head and shoulder, other anti hair fall products ) but nothing worked.

7 Treatment history, mainly the recent medication for the condition
A. Especially for my scalp problem never gone for medication till now, only using natural home remedy and other hair care products + shampoos.

Thanks for information

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome back with your details and pics!

I have reanalyzed the situation in the light of fresh inputs.

This corresponds to Male Pattern Alopecia. Mots patients that attend with me, and those who have reported excellent response, were suggested the following:

1 To avoid combing when hairs are wet, like just after bath

2 No massage

3 Balanced diet

4 Minoxidil solution 5% twice daily,1.0 ml each time

5 More proteins and green vegetables

6 Observe for at least three months

7 Avoid home remedies, for the real risk of interference with treatment.

It has been a good experience when all the steps listed above wee followed by patients with sincerity and regularity.

I am having expectations of equally good outcome in your case too. You will do well by waiting for the bumps to subside of their own as these seem to be related to the use of irritant substances like you mentioned. You may also choose to use an antibiotic cream like Mupirocin preparation. Levocetirizine 5 mg a day at night is good to relieve any itching.

Best wishes

Hi

Welcome to the place!

Here is what you wanted to know more about:
1 AF-K is one of the good shampoos of which I have considerable experience in my patients and all of them had high satisfaction levels.

2 Better is to keep on changing your shampoos for regular use.

3 The regulations about purchase of medicines vary from place to place. Minoxidil topical solution is over the counter. Please ask your pharmacist if he can give it without prescription.

4 Hair oils can be used, but avoid massaging

5 No problem with daily head baths, you might consider using shampoo on alternate days at first and then reduce the frequency of use.

Wishes for your good recovery!
