Question: Was just wanting to shoot you a quick questions. I have the condition genu valgum and I was wondering if I should buy leg braces, exercise or both? I'm currently 19 and have had this condition for a while. Not sure what I should do. Thanks.

Genu Valgum at this stage , if severe , will require surgical correction.

Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
At your age , braces or exercises will not be of any help in correcting genu valgum. If you have moderate to severe genu valgum, then the only remedy is surgical correction.
