Brief Answer:
need evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.

There are many possible causes for hair fall like systemic diseases (anemia, thyroid dysfunction etc) or specific skin conditions on head (fungal infections ,seborrheic dermatitis ,etc).
If your hair loss is localized in some small area ,most likely the cause is a fungal infection or a skin condition. If the hair fall is generalized (in all head) systemic disease should be excluded.

Physical examination is essential to understand more about the possible cause.
You need to consult a dermatologist and get examined. The doctor will carefully look at your scalp and hair and perform specific tests like hair pull test ,etc.

You may need to do some blood tests to exclude any underlying medical condition :
-Complete blood count to exclude anemia and iron deficiency
-Thyroid hormones

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any other question.I will be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati

Brief Answer:
you can consult your regular doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Yes,you can consult your regular doctor for physical examination.
If your scalp is clear (without any fungal-like lesion) the doctor may refer you to a dermatologist for further investigations of the cause of your hair fall.
The lesions your have mentioned on arm ,chest and toenail can indicate a fungal infection but physical examination is necessary to say it for sure.

Please fee free to ask for every doubt you may have.

Take care,

physical examination is necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

It is possible to that you might have demodex infestation although it is not confirmed that demodex is a cause for hair loss. For a proper diagnosis is necessary a physical examination.
The spots on your chest ,arms and back need evaluation.

You should definitely consult a physician for examination to determine the cause of these symptoms.
I wish you all the best.
