Brief Answer:
Some steps to be taken to prevent infections

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM,

From what I understand you are a male having frequent urinary tract infections.

It is rare for a male getting urinary infections, as it is difficult to treat if after. For this reason, in order to prevent them, the best way is to treat well the infection you have already gotten.
1) What I recommend to my patients is doing a urine culture in the very beginning and I treat according to the results of it, with the best antibiotic recommended.
2) Drink plenty of water- this helps the bladder get cleared more frequently.
3) Take the whole treatment- It is longer for men, according to the antibiotic used.
4) If you have done all of the above and still keep having infections, you should do further tests to make sure that something beyond just the infection is happening, like a sphincter insufficiency, reflux of the urine, ect.

Let me know if you need more clarifications. Hope this is helpful.
