4th cranial nerve damage can be due to broken nasal bones. Like being hit across the face ?

My dear,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Once you trace out structure of this .muscle ,called as superior oblique supplied by 4 th cranial nerve.The muscle originating at the back of eye,it comes to the angle between eye and upper part of nose.,forming a sling in a hole in bone turns back to attach to the eye ball.Injuries to base of nose may damage this nerve or muscle.
Since nerve and muscle is one unit,the difference being nerve originating in the brain and traversing a long path to reach the muscle and muscle ,shortest of all eye muscles at less than 4 cm.
