Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/81 - dropped a thing on foot - blood blister, swelling and bruising - blister broke - bandaid - blood + clear stuff - minimum now - antibiotic ointment - known stroke and have some writing problem ..
I can understand the problem you have about writing.
Since there is minimal blood and clear stuff coming out means there is no active bleeding, the clear stuff is serum - a part of the liquid that makes blood fluidy.

I would advise you the following:
Clean the whole foot with Liquid Povidone Iodine if available.
Put an ointment you have mentioned , apply bandaid and then apply a pressure bandage to stop bleeding and oozing.
Elevate the foot above heart in lying down position to reduce edema, pain and bleeding/oozing.

Since you had stroke, you might have been kept on some sort of blood thinners, please consult your Doctor whether there is a need to stop blood thinners after blood tests.
Also get additional prescription of proper antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medication.
Also watch for the movements of the foot, toes and if there is any restricted movements consult an Orthopedic Surgeon.
X-ray of the affected area to see if there is any fracture or so.

I hope this answers your queries.
