Brief Answer:
You can add on a drug from different class/Cymbalta/Amitriptyline

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have advised you to increase the dose of lyrica, instead of adding Gabapentin.
Besides,Cymbalta or amitriptyline can be started as add-on drugs as these drugs are of different class and are more potent antineuralgics as compared to Gabapentin.
Cymbalta 30 mg once a day or Amitriptyline 25 mg once a day can be started.Amitriptyline can cause sedation initially for a couple of days.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have follow up queries,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.

Brief Answer:
Expert massage therapy may bring some relief.Medicines must.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

It is of doubtful significance that massage therapy with specific protocol for neuropathy may be helpful in reducing pain. This should be done by expert hands(preferably by a specialist in physical and medical rehabilitation or massage therapist) otherwise it may cause more harm than good. And it is doubtful that it will bring immediate relief in severe pain.

Here,I don't see a realistic option other than potent antineuralgic medicines as discussed above.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have follow up queries,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.
