Brief Answer:
GERD / Acid reflux

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Food stuck in esophagus like symptoms and now burping are all connected and due to the same reason which is Acid Reflux also called GERD.

Flaring of acid reflux by some triggers may increase burping than usual. You need to take some antacids, some pepto and even baking soda to relieve the burp. Gastric motility enhancers like metoclopramide or any other prokinetic can be used as well.

More important is modifying diet and lifestyle and avoiding all the triggers to avoid such flares in future. Small frequent meals, avoiding spices, stimulants, caffeine, processed canned foods, chocolates and other sweets, vinegar, sauces , smoking etc.

prefer diet rich in fibers and take more fluids. Delay lying down after meal for two hours and keep the head side of the bed elevated for at least 8 inches. These lifestyle measures will relieve 80 % of your symptoms. Rest 20 % will be done by the medications you are prescribed.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
